Mak can reroll mediocre pieces into real power, but Transform should serve a plan. Potion Distillery, Mothmeal, Calcinator, Retort, and Reagents work best when the board already knows whether it is winning through Burn, Poison, Regen, or utility.
Alchemy gives Mak many exits, which makes over-pivoting tempting. Once a damage type and support engine appear together, spend upgrades on that line instead of trying to keep every possible potion route open.
Focus on the turn where the player stops experimenting. Good Mak guides show which transforms are worth chasing and which shops are just distractions.
These embedded videos give the page enough visual strategy context for the hero class, route timing, and comparable playstyles.
